Inductors are basic components that are used to build a.c. power line filters,
d.c. power line filters, and signal line filters.
Since you may not always be able to buy the exact filter that you need,
you may occasionally have to design and build your own. Filter design assistance is
available in some of the EMC software packages listed elsewhere in this directory.
